Roses are red,
Violets are Blue,
Garbage is Messy,
So are you,
I like garbage,
Its my crystal meth,
Wash them down with bullets,
for a bloody death,
Here is the Alphabet,
A is for Ass
B is for Balls
C is for Clamhat
D is for Lysdexia
E is for PANTS
F is For.... Wait it is for.
G is for GREEN
Ham Salad is for Lunch
3 is for Tricycles
Splunge is for Splunge
XXX is for Porn and Bear
Y? Because we kill things
Z is kind of a useless letter but we like it anyway.

AN UNEXPECTED BIRTH
PearlMitch
I witnessed a birth last night
happened in front of my eyes
and when it finally emerged
honestly I was surprised
labor pains came on
struggles were painful inside
obviously the time had come
no way could it abide
resting in its place
where it did reside.

I moved from the recliner
where I relaxed so fine
booted up the computer and
started to push the lines
“push, push, fervently”
I told myself to find
an image to verbalize
this fetus coming alive.

The text began to flow
catharsis I would reap
by clearing my mind
of the living, breathing poem
that had to be born before I could sleep

SEVENTEEN
         By David Lee Ward

Out in the world at seventeen,
Is where I wanted to be it seems,
I could not wait for I was keen,
To see the World's many scenes!

Away from home is how I liked it,
Into my mind is how I scribed it,
I did whatever I thought would fit,
Into my plans at the time no script!

I wandered the World always looking,
For Life's existence in many bookings,
The first ten years traveling abroad,
Till I found myself without the fraud!

Returning years later for a short visit,
And to see from what I left if I missed it,
From what I saw, nothing had changed,
Seemed smaller, to a mind with great range!

SWORDS & POEMS
Leonardo C. Dioko
Words are swords and thoughts are arrows
Weapons in the mind's infighting

There is the small sharp word called ire
Or the bigger sword desire

Or the speeding bullet, the conventional fire
The grenade launched by a woman's smile

Beware the tear, to weep is weapon
To speak as if to wield a scar

To shout, to say it loud, to hear
The word explode, the golden bursts

Of sonnets in a field of war
Where words are swords and poems expire

"WITH  POEM"
Corey St.Denis
A picture is worth a thousand words
Whoever said this must no have read
Read the words of a good poet
A post in love or a poet with anger
A good poem is that of a novel
It may be short, yet long inside
A poem of 10 lines can be so much more
If a poem is read just right
Those 10 lines can live in your heart
They can spark a feeling more than any other
No picture can do that in which a poem can do
If a picture is worth a thousand words
Then a picture fails in comparison
With a poem

Intuition
Vishal P Baliya

The wait of patience till the next moment,
and each of the moment coming to my heart's torment;
my shallow wisdom flows in the valley which is to my like,
nothing i can do but wait for my moment to strike;
things have blown over my head like wind as I have wished,
but often that wish belonged to a land far off which I have missed;
after my wish has layers and layers of time passed by,
the illusion becomes reality and gives me a try.
I am happy but is it late?
today it seems that both time and tide are on a date;
they are waiting for me in the land of truth and illusion,
this time I would not be late is my heart's intuition.

Heart Broken
By. Chris McManus

Every time the wind is blowing,
a heart is broken without even knowing.
The pain will hit so, so fast,
it starts to make you think about the past.
Of how they have hurt you before,
they know how much farther their heart will be torn.
So she knows now that every times she flips the love token,
that it will always land on "Heart Broken."

A Thought on Faith
Bill Albright
Faith is to believe in that which is impossible to prove
To attribute the universe to a God or Goddess
Doubtful answers to question impossible to prove
To interpret dawn, sunset, clouds, night and day
Unique nature impossible to prove
Conditions of minds which love, hate, yearn, and spurn
Unseen only felt, continuing impossible to prove
Heavens, hells, prophets and popes, messengers, verse
Words of that which is impossible to prove
Pass a righteous plate, become the pious who,
Call for alms of faith in that which is impossible to prove.

-0-

All of the belief has fallen on me.
Al least I was believing it was the way is was suppose to be.
Looking at my soul through ones eye,
and seeing how I made myself through the years.
The best I have done was not letting danger replace my fears.
I have lived in the dark place once in a million, but most is living life in light.
And in glory of delight.

WOLFGANG BANGING
Michael Flood

As we approached the cabin
I eased back on the wheel
It was sick, it was dark
The bulls crashed through the fence
They had dark-gold hair
The dew was on the grass
As a girl played piano

THE ETERNAL WINTER
by Alex Pastel

Bright light shining across the pale blue sky
Our Earth is a giant Sequoia, everlasting and
enriched with life
Wild birds soar under the guiding eye of the
sun and moon, the givers of life
Countless rivers and mountains sing to
the tune of nature
Our Mother cares for us each day
But the favor is not returned

A brilliant explosion of white light
Followed by a deafening thunder
Echoes across land and sea

The desolate earth lays still
Life has vanished like a magic trick
Smoldering, dark clouds sweep our planet
Suffocating Mother Earth
The wild birds no longer soar
And the rivers and mountains sing nevermore
The apocalyptic fire swarms and consumes the last
breaths of life, transforming our world into
an Eternal Winter

As our mother takes her last gasp of air
The giant Sequoia plummets toward the blackened earth

Will You Still Eat?
Darius Gabriel Bugarin

the sun blasted because of your dangerous words--
you have your tail with you while you walk--
with your crown plated in gold,
and showering in your own perspiration.

with your nightmares,
even the moon's dreaming--
dreaming of becoming God,
and create the world on fire.

you give food to others, you eat--
it's in your mind, in which a lie--
to impress the many,
you wore a mask.

will you still eat of some good traits?
and not become a pineapple that was full of eyes?
or a citrus that was too sour?

will you still eat and be interested to know the truth?
or you'll continue with your darkest sides,
and dream of becoming a God?

MY OWN
by: ryanne brown

fate disappears from your soul
the first glance into love will never again be told

missing the days that began with sunlight
holding yours against mine, day to night

If i cry i will be labeled weak
but there is nothing left, nothing to savior, nothing to keep

No lust, no love, and lonely again
serving life's fate, keeping it all in

To laugh, or smile in front of a crowd
is a natural scene created to stay proud

if i'm alone, sitting up in my room
all memories let loose, all the ties undo

Better than depending, i'll make it alone
find strength in my heart, or create my own.

I wish I was a singer
Belting it out on stage
My voice carrying it out
Hiding all my rage
I find my singing
Proves that I'm alive
And out of control
Maybe someday I will be singing
At the Super Bowl
I watch MTV
Rock to the radio constantly
Try to aggravate mom by turning the channels
So I told her to quit whining and put up sound proof panels
They wont be laughing
When i make it big and win
I'm hoping that someday I will be rapping with Eminem
But for now
Ill just keep my singing
In my room
Until I become discovered
And taken to the moon!!

Half The World
Denise
Half the world hates
What the other half does everyday
Half the world waits
While the other half gets on with it anyway

Half the world lives
Half the world makes
Half the world gives
What the other half takes

Half the world talks
With half a mind on what they say
Half the world walks
With half a mind to runaway

Half the world hates
What the other half does everyday
Half the world waits
While the other half gets on with it anyway

Half the world lives
Half the world makes
Half the world gives
What the other half takes

Half the world talks
With half a mind on what they say
Half the world walks
With half a mind to runaway

My three brothers:
leesha
I grew up with three brothers.
That wasn't the easiest thing in the world.
We had our laughs and cries.
Almost everyday we fought.
My brothers and I were just starting to get along.
Then one day the oldest out of them had to go, and would never return.
>From that moment on I knew that I had to stick by the other two sides.
A few years later the second oldest went off to the Air Force and now we are starting to grow apart from each other.
The youngest out of them will soon be going off to college, and not too long we'll be growing apart.
Soon I'll be along.
I'd really love it, if just us four could be together again for all eternity.

LAST DANCE
Brian J. Kulig

Dreams and visions roll through the night only to find love at
the end of the light.

You wonder and think what you have done only to find love has
come undone.

Beauty and visions come through the night but only you know
which one is right.

I thought you were my dream at the end of the light, but so
far it's just one big fight.

To let you go is very sad, but it shouldn't be that bad.

I wish it was easier to be together, but now we are
separated forever.

LIVING INSIDE MY OWN HEAD
Sean M. Leahy

Living
inside my
own head is
a melody of noise
with intermittent silence.

Sounds
last no longer
than time will allow
to strike the next note.

So
melodic
to listen to
your own tune and
tune outside distractions in.

While
the rhythm
of the rock spinning
beneath my feet goes unheard...

UNTIL WE BONDED, FOR ONE ANOTHER THERE WAS NO RESPECT
Christina Ulrike Elizabeth Guschewski

As I stood on his feet with mine,
he didn't seem to mind my body weight
Against my legs I could feel his soft leghairs
It was as intense as a naughty one thousand black
aberdeen cow charging after me through pastured fields
Exhilarating and frightening I feared the wrath of the cow
as much as the risk to bond with this one man
Shrieking, the cow started galloping
And the man's eyes followed mine
Nowhere to compose Hermes' was no comparison
With enthusiasm and eagerness, my eyes wondered to his eyes
and we met one another's eyes, ears, nose, hairline, chin
Seven meters before the electrical fence she gave a swift
hindquarter buck
With a lively belly grunt, she glared
His fingers brushed along the contours of my waste
A shiver along my spinal cord gave way to a home feeling.

 - The Year of the Ox -
Dan Hutchens
Beautiful wisdom
sprouts with spring flowers
the seeds that lay dormant all winter
ready to take in sweet sunshine
Beautiful wisdom
springs into view, in random jumps
takes the form of a creek against a rising sun
or a poem about the deepest blue eyes
Never staying the course
always thinking of something new
a verse on the complexities of life
and the wars started in bloodshed
end in bloodshed.

Blood spilt on this day?
a grey forlorn feeling
but Neptune could wash them away
The heart bleeds for life again
sunshine and
fresh buds
Doubt creeps around
questioning right from wrong
The point of a belief, a faith
teachings almost worthless
answers come in a silent scene
feel like you just arrived
empty now, bloodshot eyes.

MY "ODE" TO MEL GIBSON
                          by JoAnn Tisdale
I've lived in this hell hole Washougal come ten years this May
Its been a ten-long year nightmare full of delusion, deception and disarray
Now anyone whose "normal" would of long since gone astray
I guess I'm abnormal cuz I'm here to stay.
And they all wonder why, like its any of their business anyway,
so when asked I just look into space and say,
"Its cuz I've lost my mind here and hope to find it someday"
that has a bit of truth to it much to my dismay.
But if truth be known, and no it's not just hear-say,
Mel Gibson owns a house here that means there is no way
that I'm leaving here until that one special day
the day he comes home and he sees me, falls in love, and takes me away.
I pray for that every second of every minute, of every hour, of every day.
And I'm being very patient, at least that's what I try to portray,
but my colorful dreams of our chance meeting is slowly fading to gray.
So if, by chance, your reading this Mel I've only one thing left to say,
"HURRY UP MISTER BEFORE MY LOOKS GO TOO!!!!!!!!!!"
my apologies to his wife.

The Beauty of Nature
Author: Andrew J. Rostron

What a sight of nature the eyes can see.
The sound of wind in a gentle breeze.
The bright colors you see in a group of trees.
All the smell of all spring evergreen.
The life which flows through the ring of light.
The sky that fulfills the evening night flight.
The stars that bring such a soothing gleaming.
The refreshing smell of a small, tiny ebony.
The gentle breeze on a windy day.
The pouring rain in a soggy way.
The bright, hot sun brings heat to the earth.
The leaves fall down in winter's birth.
With all these things in nature's life.
All can be gone and totally wiped out.
With smoke, fire, and a bunch of lightning.
But most of all the people who are living.
The cast of snow in winter's passing.
The presence of snow is never long lasting.
The beauty of nature stays so light.
This stage of life is like an endless windmill.
Finally winter has drifted away and spring has started its season away.
The leaves that are dead are among the living.
The trees that are damp are dry as can be.
The bright white light among the sky.
The holding of hours and minutes pass by.
All these stars you can see.
They can be bright as you want them to be.
The casting of a midnight shadow.
The blackness is so bleak and shallow.
The hollowing of the wolves call.
The reality of nature's fall.
But why is this so important?
The beauty of nature is florescent.

Sun Bathing
craig gosling
Bathing in the sun, they say, is really good for you.
It's something, they say, you should make a point to do.
Ultraviolet light, they say, makes your vitamin D,
and vitamin D is needed if healthy you wish to be.

The test of a good vacation, they say, is baking in the sun.
So you can return home brown, make sure both sides get done.
What would your friends and neighbors think if you came home white?
You've wasted a good vacation, you're really not too bright.

So spread your blanket on the beach or beside the pool,
even though it's sizzling hot, being brown sure looks cool.
Don't spoil your vacation by thinking about damage done
to your skin and to your eyes from the blazing sun.

Lather on the lotion and wear those cool shades,
drink some bottled water or some lemonade.
Never mind that shades and lotion are not good enough
to screen all the rays that cause old skin and that cancer stuff.

Burn your eyes and tan your retina like your dermis.
Crank up the rays just like you would a furnace.
Your vacation was expensive but was well worth the cost.
Its effects will be permanent even when your tan is lost.

Melanoma and cataracts will remind you of vacation days.
Wrinkled and brown skin are worth the price you paid.
While you deal with consequences of sunny vacations
why not plan your next one now? Make your reservations.
Book the doctor's office and the hospital clinic,
because you wouldn't believe the warnings of a cynic.

KING O O
austyn njoku
In the twilight of
these dreary days
i see souls about
to set sail into
the immortal known
unknown - and you
want to know how
i know - i ask you
to query the vulture
balded king of carrion
who hovers around
counting the tired steps
of trudging travellers
labouring across deserts
parched and starved
they kiss the soft sand
as the amber sun dims
bleakness blankets them
souls seep out to sail
through vast murky realms
and the balded king smiles -
he swoops down to claim
his coveted designed carrion!

FROM WANTING TO JUST LOOSEN OFF
Dagga Tolar
The seed gets touched
From wanting to be spoiled
It is we who can’t walk away
Free even with the hot heat
We body on the coolest of them

To cup us tight
Block our sacred birth hole
Earning the little little droppings
It is we women
Whose body gets burdened on

From wanting to just loosen off

THE MADWOMAN OF POONA
by Danesh Bharucha

The madwoman moved through the noon-flayed streets,
Toothless and wild-eyed, white sari flapping like a flag of truce,
An accusing finger pointed at the sky.

Poona in midsummer, and pariah kites wheeled
In dark-feathered circles of prophecy,
Their scavenger eyes covering the baked land
For the windfall of yet another animal
Swooning from the fever of the Indian plains.

The woman scattered frightened children in her path,
(They feared her, though they saw her every day.)
She moved quickly, a barefooted white wave, whooshing down the street,
Muttering and singing, wailing and shrieking,
To a secret tryst she kept, every day, with her lover.
A tryst with a lover that nobody could see but herself.

But down by the river, crouching on the frog-green rocks,
A peace captured her ravaged soul as she settled and smiled
And spoke quietly, words of rapture, of passion, of true love.
This was her daily and only pleasure, her purpose for being,
Her release.

She spoke to the water a long time each day, sharing a romance
Contained only in the scrambled essence of her frantic brain.
The water listened, and lapped at the rocks, and accepted
The illusion that its visitor set afloat on its surface each day,
Smiling and giggling like a besotted schoolgirl.
The river said nothing; like a talented psychologist
It only listened, and sent forth a soothing murmur, a reassurance
That the lovers would be blessed by the gods.
The woman felt sane and safe.

DON'T WAIT TO HESITATE.....

queen of disguise meets lord of the flies

in obvious seclusion
hidden from sight but subject to fright
and thunderous conclusions

dress for the kill and seek out the thrill
act surprised at your shimmer and shine
whispers, not shouts, is what you're all about
and no one will draw any lines

foot to the floor as you head out the door
reminisce as you forecast the future
all is not lost when you purchase at cost
close the wounds with a stitch and a suture

and back in the day as the old folks would say
when the birds were as big as a boulder
the light was so bright that they went without sight
and the weather was oh so much colder

but now comes a time when the church bells wont chime
and the air tastes of venom and spite
seek and destroy like a good little boy
while she squeals from the hints of delight

A p r i c o t
 (John Villanueva)

It’s one of those days,
When I just felt like I was on top of the world.
It’s one of those moments,
When I smiled just to make everyone happy.
It’s one of those moments,
When I was proud,
Because everybody’s looking at me.

My dear mom and my hated dad were both there.
Five years in the making.
Both of them were there- together.
It seemed like a dream.
Even though they hate and still hate each other.
Just the thought of them being in the same room-
The feeling was amusing.
Can’t be expressed in words.

It was December the 18th
I was crowned “Mr. Peace”
But I kept telling myself.
“Yeah, right!” I wish I am.”
If I was “Mr. Peace”
Then I should be able to keep the peace
Peace between my parents.

It’s one of those moments,
When my life seems like an apricot.
It’s bitter sweet.
But I wish that it’s only sweet-
Like chocolates.
Yes, the sensation is only there for a while.
But I’d give my life just to feel it.

Looking back to the memory,
I still hope that I can change it.
From the bitter moment of my parents hating each other,
To the sweet sensation,
Of my parents loving each other.

I was an apricot- with two flavors.
Sweet, with the memory of me being “Mr. Peace”
And the bitter sensation, of my parents hating each other.

Like an apricot,
The flavor will never change.
Not in this lifetime.

HOPE
By: Breanna C.

We all have felt pain,
Pain that overwhelms the body and mind,
But most have strength,
They overcome this pain,
Though, some do not,
The pain they cannot bear,
So they end it,
They take their own lives,
And are pleased in doing so,
The strong ones don’t understand,
But I understand,
I have felt that pain,
Though I am not strong,
Because I to have thought of death,
But I am still here,
Because I know one thing for sure…
There is still hope…

London Life
jamie st martin
London can be a hectic but dismal place by day
As people rush to work like terrified mice
Only afraid of being late.
Through thick polluted smog along the way
Down the congested main roads and motorways.
In cars, buses or even by plane.
When nighttime comes
Only pubs and nightclubs appear to be open.
Down the half-lit back street alleys
Who knows?
Only to suppress the very old and fragile
But to awaken the young.
As the morning sun rises over the horizon
Only desolate and lifeless streets are seen
With only chip bags and yesterdays news
Littering the streets.
Or is this
Just a typical sight perceived with eyes?
 As a heavily loaded dustcart,
Proceeds down the ageing street
Bin men retrieve what they can
All you can do is just stop and stare
Leaving flocks of birds to flutter
Only around for the leftovers
Or even just around one another.
Time is still relatively early today
But will today just be like yesterday?
As a fresh day commences
In London
A new cycle slowly begins.

SWAZILAND
                by Aaron M. Hadley

...and i was told that it is peaceful there. the brothers and sisters
get along fine; but here in america; she told me that it is...
different. "something must be done"! she said, but being in neo/
economic bondage for so long did not seem to matter to me anymore
and as i turned from her and looked through the huge bay window...
the sky was gray out, the wind was blowing hard: bitter/winter
was back. i saw the almost ancient/almost ageless black woman
back bent carrying all of america's inhumanities and indignities
upon her back. i waved and offered an emphathetic smile, and then
she buckled, then tripped and then fell into that dark/dank sewer of
      obscurity...
as unknown as her stolen history. i then turned from the window
and back at her... "something must be done". she repeated.
"how much are jet tickets to swaziland"? i asked, for being in neo/
economic bondage for so long does matter to me now...

Reality or Sanity?
By: Rainer Fernandez

It is the pain of a thousand deaths that keeps me up through the night
Not the simple truth, but a complex plot to make me go insane
As if my body can handle the suffering the absence of love the absence of light
Neither of which fulfills any desires, it only magnifies the pain.

How does one live without living how does one stand straight?
Is it a magic trick? Is it an illusion meant for other men?
With the quickness of light I loose the battle with fate
She is one with no humor no pity no Zen.

Fate is the one ruler by which my life is measured
It is the horrible and twisted irony of this being
She wants my soul, my heart and lifeless pleasures
It’s the monster I can’t hear but I know that I have seen

If she could talk she would whisper murder in my ear
My blood will freeze my stomach turn until no more
She will cut me open strip my insides and make me disappear
The battle within me continues but no soldiers fighting my war

Today is Wednesday.
They pay me on a Thursday, but not this,
No next, you know, the one after,
Yes, this, the one after this Thursday,
You should know, they know,
Yes, them, who?
Them, those that work there,
Well I think they do, or does someone else?
Yes, it must be the banks,
No it is the man with the money,
It is Gordon Brown,
he pays me every two weeks,
On a Thursday, of course,
Everyone knows it is a Thursday,
But mine is a Monday,
How's that, because mine is definitely a Thursday,
You are my age, why isn't it Thursday,
I don't know, but mine is a Monday.
Aghh never mind, how much do you get,
230 pounds.
What, I only get 155, what's wrong with you,
Incapacitated,
yes so am I but with what,
mental problems,
yes what mental problems,
stress, depression all that
yes, same as me, still
you get more than me,
never mind its Wednesday
it will soon be Thursday,
well next Thursday,
you know the one after,
yes I know, the one after

"THE ANSWER"
Dark Chocolate

I take a step into the lights, but at times I feel like I took 2 steps back.
I look for all the right path, but I always seem to find the wrong ones.
I search high and low never seeming to find the right answere.
How can I find the answer, not knowing the question?
Like a man bound for his strength and killed for his intellect I am at a lost for words.
Sometimes I hear steps echoing in the background and I know that they're not mines.
Left and right I hear them marching on....
Left and right I hear their guns locking back....
Left and right they've set off another bomb...
Left and right another life is gone.
All this for the sake of democracy.
I hear fathers' dying and mother's crying and I ask is this the answer?

Who Am I?
 - Natalie Chaves,
Who am I to know-
When death sweeps over like a hawk,
Maybe not for you,
But for your lover?

What am I to do-
When tragedy strikes,
And life is like
A burnt out street lamp?

Who am I to become-
When a world
Is split in two,
And there is no hope?

Who am I?
Call me what you like,
But I am no more
Or no less than
The blindness that has overcome
The world.

SMALL CHANGE
BY Thomas W.Sypek

My life is small loose change in a lint filled pocket.
A couple of quarters, a few nickels, one lone dime, and a whole lot of pennies.
I lose a penny here. A nickel there. A quarter and a dime every once in a while.
Through a hole in my pocket I never think of mending.
The snowball lint falls.
Following the loose change through the hole.
Marking a Hansel and Gretal trail.
Lost forever under the marching feet of life.
My life is small loose change in a lint filled pocket.
A couple of quarters, a few nickels, one lone dime, and a whole lot of pennies.

THE  ULTIMATE  OF  LIFE
T. ASHOK CHAKRAVARTHY

My inner heart blows the divine conch
The chariot of affection may soon vanish
Life, thorough the painful years launch
A look into the past, at the youthful crush.

Musings, drift along the clouds of thoughts
The childhood moon and youthful sun peeps,
The stars twinkled through the mid-life acts
But behind a dark cloud, destined they hid deep.

The affectionate parents, their tender care
Their unbound joy and the playful nature
Ah ! The horizon of thoughts is still mature
But the rainbow cannot last long even here.

When all is well, fate begins its wicked games
Snatching age-old memories, it provoke storms
The flowers would wilt when time shrouds
The ultimate to life lurks in search of molecules.

In this oh so bad world

Everyone wants me gone.
I've been a mannerable girl
But I'm tired of being alone.

When I try talking to someone
About the problems that I've had for so long
They don't want to listen
And yet i'm tired of being alone.

Why can't I be like everyone else,
Who can go out by themselves?
Why do I have to stay home?
And yet I'm tired of being alone.

If you want to know why
I'm tired of being alone,
Just face the problems and consequences that I've had to face and cry
Then you'll see why I'm tired of being alone.

"Aimlessly Wondering Warrior"
 -Tyler...
The click of a unsheathed sword taping a small rock fills the echoing cave. A large  shadow holds  it, his attention obviously lost in the endless maze. He stands now turning around the corner of the maze again, and again. He finally see's a smalltunnel with light shining threw. As he walks towards it-it gets further away. He now runs the light getting dimmer and the tunnel disappearing, yet again showing the dull white walls of the maze going up into the endless sky, not a drop of color on them.

Flying
Monica Engeler
Fling open your eyes
And reflect over our cosmetic sphere
Mountains, valleys, and oceans shape our ecosphere
A Superior being designed these fine lines

So mysterious is the world
I want to soar high in the sky like the birds at sea
And discover the secrets of our hemisphere
This incredible journey starts without words

A sudden breeze fired my passion
I couldn’t fly like the bird I envisioned but I could sing praise
It is a beautiful day and I shouldn’t be ashamed
Secrets, mysteries and journeys are endless interrogations

It is time to lower your eyes
Dream of flying and discovering new happenings
The flame flickers with a continuous silver lining
It is the continuous ring of life
